This type of bearing is suitable when the displacement of the centres around which the shaft and the housing rotate and shaft deflection are likely to occur. Bearings with a tapered bore can easily be fit tot he shaft with an adapter assembly. Some self alaigning ball bearings also come in a sealed version.
