ITINERARY-1

Day 01- Colombo / Negombo /Waikkala
Morning Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Welcome and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel in Waikkala. Rest of the morning at leisure at the hotel. PM In the afternoon visit the fishing village. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight 

Day 02- Waikkala /Pinnawela / Dambulla / Sigiriya
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Dambulla. en route visiting the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. It is an orphanage for baby elephants set up by the Department of National Zoological Gardens. The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Other inmates are those found displaced from their natural environs by development projects or those found wounded. Visit the Rock Caved Golden Temple of Dambulla, which is famous for its 01st Century BC cave complex and its vast area of mural painted on the surface of the rock. It is also known for its large number of statues of Lord Buddha carved out of the living rock. PMAfter the visit, proceed to Sigiriya and check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Day 03- Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya
After breakfast, proceed to visit Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of ancient Ceylon. The city of Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Ceylon, with its comparatively brief history with over a dozen rulers. Visit the sites where once seven storey castles and temples were situated. PMReturn to hotel. Afternoon at leisure at the hotel. In the late afternoon, visit Sigiriya, a massive rock fortress rising 183 meters above the surrounding green scrub jungle, just declared a world heritage site, is perhaps the most memorable place for visitors to Sri Lanka. The site was built under the orders of the paranoid king Kasyapa. The well-planned complex included caved temples, bathing pools, lovely ponds and Asia’s oldest surviving landscaped gardens. Today Sigiriya is famous for its frescoes painted in the pocket of the rock. The “Lion Stairway”, the“Mirror Wall” and the “Water Gardens” are its other highlights. Climb to the summit of the rock to view the ruins of the monastic complex. Return to hotel.

Day 04- Sigiriya / Matale / Kandy
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kandy. En route a brief stop at Matale to visit a spice garden and a batik factory. PMProceed to Kandy and visit the city and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. In the evening view a cultural show featuring traditional dance performance. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05- Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya En route, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, The Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya were established in 1821 and now covers 140 acres, snuggled in a loop in the Mahaweli River, the longest river in Sri Lanka. Its primary purpose was the testing and acclimatizing of plants for commercial use in Sri Lanka. Today the Gardens have one largest collections of flora from sub tropical climates around the world.& visit a tea plantation and a tea factory. PMArrive in Nuwara Eliya and visit the city. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06- Nuwara Eliya / Kithulgala / Bentota
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kithulgala, the site where the famous award winning film “The Bridge over the River Kwai” was filmed. Today, it is the site for the thrilling water sport White Water Rafting. PMProceed to Bentota. Arrive at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07-Bentota
Day free at your leisure on the beach. Overnight Bentota. 

Day 08-Bentota-Colombo
Checkout from the hotel and continue to the airport in time for the departure flight.

Day 01- Colombo
Arrive at the airport and be met by our representative and transferred to Hotel in Colombo. City Tour & Bird Watching at Bellanwila ,Attidiya. The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall. S i t e :-

Day 02- Colombo-Kithulgala
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Kithulgala. Check in at Rafters Retraet. – Kithulgala. P.m. cross the Kelani river by canoe an enter “Bandara Kele” a rem anent of the virgin forest. Kithulgala A rain forest across the Kelani River from Kithulgala resthouse, east of Colombo. At the foot of the central mountain massif, this is the area of highest rainfall in Sri Lanka. S i t e :-

Day 01-Airport-Negombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "Ucanfly" Representatives and transfer to a hotel in Negombo. Evening leave for City Tour of Negombo. NEGOMBO The fishing village of Negombo has turned out to be a very popular Tourist Beach Resort, for its Golden Sun kissed Beach that’s fringed with Palm Groves. The amazing fact is that the development of the tourist industry has had no influence to change the originality of the quiet fishing village or the Life style of the inhabitants. Day 02-Negombo-Pinnawala-Dambula
After breakfast, leave for Dambulla. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. ELEPHANT ORPHANGE The foster – home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity. P.m. at leisure Overnight stay at Hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 03-Dambula-Pollonaruwa-Sigiriya
SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS Climb the Rock Fortress Next ELEPHANT SAFARI – (OPTIONAL ) The Elephant that was the limousine, Bulldozer, War Tank, Status Symbol, Wealth Asset and Domestic pet in the past is today an element that adds colour to pageants or the gentle Giant that gives pleasure rides. The Elephant Safari Habarana (At Village) has become a highlight event to tourist for its excitement and adventure or even for the "Chance of a Life Time " of riding an Elephant. The Elephant Safari is a ride on an Elephant with safely secured seat that takes around two hours. The ride takes you on a bund of an ancient lake built for irrigation then through the jungle and even crosses a part of the lake where you could get your feet wet whilst seated on Elephant Back. This is fun never to be missed when in Sri Lanka. Next POLONNARUWA After the taking over of the Island by the Cholas of India who were growing in power and building an empire for them selves, it was decided by them to make Polonnaruwa the capital city. In the year 1055AD a brave and determined Sinhala king from the southern part of the Island overpowered the invaders and took over the capital that later fell into the hands of Magha a notorious prince from Kalinga of India who was more intent on looting than ruling. Today the ancient ruined city of Polonnaruwa, a site that is so popular and much visited, contains ruins of the both Sinhala (Sri Lankan) and Indian culture. Overnight stay Hotel.

Day 04-Sigiriya-Kandy
Leave for Kandy. En route Visit Cave Temples of Dambulla, DAMBULLA CAVE TEMPLE The cave temple of Dambulla was the hideout of King Valagamba of the 01st Century B.C who fled from Anuradhapura (The capital city) due to an invasion from South India. On recapturing the city and regaining his throne after fourteen years of hiding, the king converted the caves that offered him refuge into temples and gifted them to the Buddhist monks. King Nissankamalla of the Polonnaruwa period made his contribution to the site by gilding many of the statues after which it was called Rangiri Dambulu Viharaya, which means the golden rock temple of Dambulla.This is stated in the rock inscription at the entrance to the complex. The kings of the Kandyan period also made their part of contribution by adding more statues of the Buddha and murals depicting highlights of the Buddha’s life. Visit the Rock cave temple of Dambulla and experience the feeling of a place where Time has stood still… SPICES GARDEN Visit a spice garden at Matale, where spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication are grown. Day 05-Kandy-Peradeniya-Kandy
Breakfast at hotel and leave for Peradeniya. BOTANICAL GARDEN Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This gardens; one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers. p.m. Visit art and craft center and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done. Next Visit Temple. TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH OF RELIC Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere. Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres Overnight stay at Hotel in Kandy. 

Day 06-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
After Breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya. NUWARA ELIYA The Hill country of Sri Lanka is a sight to behold. After the heat of the low lands of Sri Lanka, the diversity of temperature and scenery of the high lands is incredible. Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Bandarawela, are three popular hill stations of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya being the highest, situated over 6000 feet above sea level is also called “Little England”. As this is where the British built themselves a home away from home. The winding road that leads to the hill country through tea plantations that carpet the hills to extents beyond sight, the water falls that meander cascading down the hills, the misty valleys and scenery are certainly awe inspiring. One who drives up to Nuwara Eliya from Colombo [a four hour drive] will find it impossible to accept it to be a part of the same country. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. (Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”) Next TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory enroute. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheers to many the world over for more than a century. City Tour of Nuwara Eliya. NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Day 07-Nuwara Eliya-Buduruwagala-Yala National Park
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Yala. En route stop at Ella Grand Motel to enjoy the view of the famous ella gap, Also view the beauty of the Ravana Falls as you descend to the low lands. BUDURUWAGALA. The rock carvings of Buduruwagala are believed to be over a Thousand years old. There are seven figurers carved in high relief on a Rock that rises beyond the stream and the tallest one is of the Buddha, which is 51 feet tall. Overnight stay at Hotel. 

Day 08-Yala National Park
Early morning Safari (Picnic Breakfast pack Provided) YALA NATIONAL PARK visit Ruhunu National Park at Yala. This will include a Safari tour by jeep with a jungle tracker, where you can see animals in the Jungle; including elephants, Bears, Wild boar, Dear, Buffalo, Monkeys and many other animals if you are lucky, leopards too. You also could see different types of birds. It’s a small experience for bird watch lovers. P.m. Safari or at Leisure Overnight stay at Hotel. 

Day 09-Yala National Park-Galle-Bentota
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Bentota. En route Visit Dutch Fortress. CITY OF GALLE Galle is one of the ancient sea ports of Sri Lanka and was an anchor point in the Silk Route. It was later discovered by the Portuguese where they built a fortress and the Dutch that succeeded them fortified it further. This fortress is today a World Heritage Site. Next River Safari in Madhu Ganga BOAT SAFARI- (OPTIONAL ) The Boat Safari on the River Madhu is something that words would not justify. The primitive Life Style of the inhabitant of the islands of the Madhu River is only a boat ride away. The boat ride that takes you through the thick mangroves, The bird life around, the primitive style of Fishing and prawn trapping still practiced by the inhabitants of the islands will reveal to you another facet of splendid Sri Lanka. Next visit Turtle Hatchery. TURTLE HATCHERY Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lays hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is supposed to, incubate by the heat of the sun. What often happens is, the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them. But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and are hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas where the Birds don’t have a chance of picking them up and the babies are let in to the sea after two days at night time which offers them a better chance of survival. Day 10-Bentota-Beruwala
Breakfast at Hotel. BEACH STAY p.m At leisure – Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pineapple, Mango, Banana. Day 11-Beruwala
Day free at your leisure. Overnight Beruwala. 

Day 12-Beruwala-Colombo
Breakfast then departure to Colombo. Directly proceed to airport for onward journey.
