Preinhibited Propylene Glycol

Inhibited propylene glycol is a corrosion inhibitor incoporated propylene glycol formulation, to be used as an industrial coolant, antifreeze and heat transfer agent. This inhibited propylene glycol inhibits oxidized glycol corrosion that protects brass, solder, copper, steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other metals commonly found in industrial cooling and heating systems. The effectiveness of this Inhibited PG has been proven in extensive laboratory and in actual service tests and is suitable replacement to use of brine solutions or uninhibited propylene glycol, reducing maintenance costs and improving heat transfer efficiency. Chemtex\\\'s Inhibited Propylene Glycol under the brand name \\\"TONO FROST\\\" is registered under NSF and is acceptable for use as a heat transfer fluid where there is possibility of incidental food contact (HT1).
