Activated Alumina Balls
Activated Alumina Balls
Activated Alumina Balls Description
Activated Alumina balls has a higher capacity to absorb water than silica gel because surface area of inert alumina ball is in the range of 345-415 m2/gm at elevated temperatures. Alumina balls are mainly used as a desiccant for warm gases including air and water fluoride removal. In many commercial applications zeolite materials have now replaced it.
