MPM-2(O) assures optimum image contrast with built in dual halogen illumination system with a simple switch over from Transmitted to incident light having field and aperture Diaphragm to provide excellent illumination. The polarizing intermediate attachment has built in Bertrand lens unit on rotating Turret. For conoscopy a swing in/swing -out analyzer and DIN standard compensator Slot accomodating Ist order red sensitive tint plate and 1/4 wavelength retardation Plate. The well designed microscope stand has quadruple ball beaing nose piece , co-axial coarse and fine motion on ball bearing guides and a circular graduated stage with increment locking camp.
