Sodium Sulfate manufactured by us is mainly used for the production of detergents and in the Kraft process of paper pulping. Feldspar Powder is also known as Glauber's salt (decahydrate). The largest use of our Sodium Sulfate is as filler in powdered laundry detergents, consuming approx. 50% of world production. Another formerly major use of Sodium Sulfate is in the Kraft process for the manufacture of wood pulp. Sodium Sulfate manufactured by us can be used as a fining agent, to help remove small air bubbles from molten glass. Sodium Sulfate fluxes the glass and prevents scum formation of the glass melt during refining. Particularly in Japan, Sodium Sulfate is important in the manufacture of textiles, where it is the largest application. And in the chemistry, Sodium Sulfate is widely used as an inert drying agent. Thus, it can be seen that our Sodium Sulfate is a storehouse of numerous applications.
