Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive by a schedule International Flight and Transfer to Hotel for Overnight stay.
 
Day 2: New Delhi - Lucknow (Train) - Shravasti
After Breakfast transfer to Railway Station to Board Shatabdi Exp for Lucknow. On arrival proceed for Sravasti. Sightseeing of Sravasti. Sahet-Mahet), capital of the ancient Kingdom of Kosala, an active centre for Buddhism. Day 3: Sravasti - Lumbini - Kushinagar
After Breakfast proceed for Kushinagar on the way Sightseeing of Lumbini the place where Buddha was born. An ancient shrine with an image representing the nativity of Buddha is still preserved. Maya Devi Temple: This temple is supposed to be dedicated to Maya Devi, who is Buddha’s mother, which seems natural as lumbini in famed as the birth place of Buddha. The temple was built during the 2nd century. Next to the temple there is a pool where Maya Devi used to bathe, now days the Japanese Buddhist Federations is re constructing new temple at this site. Ashoka Pillar: built in the year 259BC, this pillar was built by King Ashok, who was Buddhist. When he constructed this pillar, the King exempted the villagers from paying tax and gave out 100 golden coins to the people. In the seventh century, the pillar was struck by lightening and split into two parts. The site was lost for six centuries and covered with dense forest before being re found in 1895. The place was cleared and the pillar reconstructed Continue your drive and arrive in Kushinagar. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4: Kushinagar - Vaishali - Patna
Kushinagar is the place that the Buddha chose for his Mahaparinirvana, or final exit from this earth. Kushinagar or Kushinara as it was then known was the capital of the Malla republic, one of the republican states of northern India during the 6th and 5th centuries BC. There are several new monasteries and temples. visit the Rambhar Stupa that marks Buddha's cremation ground. Mahakashyapa lit the funeral pyre at Mukutabandha Vihara (Rambhar Stupa) in Kushinagar. Today not much remains of this stupa expect a large brick mound rising to a height of almost 15 meters set within a well-kept park.Also Visit Mahaparinirvana Temple. Drive to Patna. Enroute visit Vaishali. Patna, the ancient Indian town of Pataliputra was thriving township during the Buddha's lifetime. Patna, the state capital of Bihar is situated on the banks of the Ganga. It is the major entry point for pilgrims who wish to travel on the footsteps of the Buddha. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 5: Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
After having Breakfast drive to Bodhgaya via Nalanda & Rajgir. Visit Nalanda, the ancient Buddhist university. the world's oldest university founded in the 5th century. Also visit monasteries and temples with impressive Buddhist & Hindu images. The Institute for research into Buddhism and Pali literature which houses rare manuscripts is also worth visiting for the enthusiasts.After visiting Nalanda drive further to Rajgir. During the lifetime of the Buddha, Rajgir (Rajgriha) was the capital of the powerful Magadh kingdom, ruled by the virtuous king Bimbisara. Visit the Vishwa Shanti Stupa. It is a marble structure with niches bearing golden images of the Buddha, built by the Nipponza Myohoji sect of Japan. Then we will drive further to Griddhakuta. The strange rock protrusion resembling a vulture's beak probably gave the hill its name. In the rock cut caves here the Buddha spent many rainy seasons, meditating and preaching Venuvana Vihara- Site of the monastery Venuvana Vihar built by king Bimbisara for Lord Buddha to reside. This was the king's first offering to Lord Buddha. Jivakameavan Gardens: Seat of the Royal Physician's dispensary where Lord Buddha was once brought to have wound dressed by Jivaka, the royal physician during the reign of Ajatshatru and Bimbisara. Continue your drive and arrive Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at the Hotel

Day 6: Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres. It was here that Gautama attained enlightenment and became Buddha under the "Bodhi" tree. After some relax Visit Mahabodhi Temple built by Ashoka the Great in 3rd Century BC one can also visit the Sacred Bodhi tree also visit Sujata House a temple dedicated to a Uruvela tribeswoman who offered food to the starving Siddhartha. The neighboring purlieu and the shrine itself evoke a sense of sanctity, not to be missed. Niranjana River. Proceed for Varanasi. On arrival check into Hotel Overnight stay at the Hotel

Day 7: Varanasi - Delhi (Air) - Bangkok By Air
Early Morning Boat Ride at River Ganges to see Sunrise. See the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world's oldest and most important religions. After breakfast sightseeing of Varanasi. Including the Bharat Mata Temple, which features a big relief map of Mother India engraved in marble. Also visit the 18th century Durga Temple, commonly known as the Monkey Temple due to the huge population of the monkeys. Proceed to the Tulsi manas Temple, crafted from white marble which features the entire Ramayana inscribed on its walls. Also visit the BHU considered as the biggest residential university in Asia. The University Campus houses an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Later sightseeing of Sarnath, the principle centre of Buddhism. It was here around 530 B.C that Buddha preached his 1st sermon after gaining enlightenment. Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight for Delhi. On arrival Delhi airport board the scheduled flight for Bankkok.
