The splicing method appropriated for individual application is dependent on the belt types used and the prevailing operating conditions. Additionally, splice reliability, flexibility of the splice and the effort required for fabrication are decisive criteria for the selection of the splicing method. Speedage conveyor belts are suitable for both Finger and Overlap splicing. Mechanical fasteners can also be used. Detailed instructions for all splicing procedures are available on request.
