Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender oil is the essential oil extracted from the flowering tops of Lavender plant . It has a light fresh aroma. Lavender oil is one of the most preferred essential oils, as it has wonderful healing qualities and enchanting aroma. It is calming, relaxing oil and helps one combat stress, while its antiseptic properties help in cold, flu and other ailments such as migraine. Blended in a cream or lotion, it is helpful for relieving minor burns; its healing properties help the skin heal faster with less scarring. Lavender oil also exerts a balancing action on the skin and can be used for sun burn, insect bites and acne.
