The Company was established on 20th April 1988 by young technocrats Dr. M. Appayya, Shri M.Chandrasekhar Rao and ShriM.N.Rao, under the able guidance of their Father Late Shri M.P.Rao who was a Ceramic Engineering graduate from B.H.U of 1944 batch.
The initial capacity of the plant was 5400 MT of conventional refractories and situated at Bollarum Industrial Estate on Hyderabad- Mumbai Highway at a distance of 4 K.M. from the Municipal limits of Greater Hyderabad. The capacity was enhanced to 48000 MT in 2003-04.
Company VisionMPR Refractories Ltd was founded by Late Shri M.P.Rao a Ceramic Engineer graduated from the Benaras Hindu University in 1944. He was associated with various organisations of repute and was a well known figure in the refractory faternity in the country.
MPR Refractories Ltd was started in the year 1988 at Hyderabad with a VISION to cater to the needs of the Steel, Cement, Chemical, Metallurgical and Other Allied Industries.
The Company’s products were well received by the customers and with their relentless support the company grew in all dimensions.
