POTASIUM STERATE

Potassium Stearate OPK-1000 may be used as a lubricant and/or stabilizer in polyolefin, PVC and acrylic rubber manufacture. It is also an emulsifier in the polymerization of butadiene and polymerizable compounds as acrylonitrile, styrene and acrylic esters, yielding synthetic rubbers. Potassium stearate is also a catalyst in the manufacture of mono- & diglycerides and the component that makes many glyceryl esters \\\"self-emulsifying.\\\"
