Barbute Helmet was developed in Italy during the 15th century. These helmets were popular throughout Europe and offered an alternative to the more restrictive sallet. The extended sides protected the neck and jaw, dispensing with the need for a separate bevor or gorget. This is a Wearable and Re-enactment Ready Medieval Helmet. Specifications: •It is made of hand-forged 16 gauge. Can be made in 18 gauge on request. •The Helmet comes with a Riveted High-Quality and adjustable Fake Leather Liner with Chinstrap and authentic Buckle. Forehead Circumference: Available in both 64cm and 68cm.
