Kunnath Pharmaceuticals works through 4 wings : 1. Production and Distribution Musli Power X-tra is produced and distributed through a chain of over 10,0000 chemist shops through out the length and breadth of India. These shops are supervised by a number of super stockists spread all over the country, as well as abroad. At the helm of the whole process is Mr. K.C. Abraham – Managing Director who is the brother of Olympian, Mrs. K.C.Rosakutty an Arjuna Award winner. Mr. T.K. Abraham, who is the Executive Director – Marketing, was the former General Manager, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals. 2. Research and Development This department conducts research on the efficacy of Musli Power X-tra, sexual health, treatment for sexual dysfunction and sex education. It is headed by Dr. T.V. Mathew, Ph.D., clinical psychologist and sex therapist who was the former HOD, Department of Clinical Psychology, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry. Dr. Mathew has trained under the illustrious sexologists and sex therapists, William H. Masters and Virginia E. Johnson. 3. Medical Wing This wing takes care of the infertility and sexual problems of both males and females through medical treatment. The well known infertility specialist, Dr. Philips Abraham, DGO, MD, Gynecologist is in charge of this department. 4. Farmers’ Welfare Indian farmers who cultivate herbal plants are constantly put under duress due to the fluctuation in prices and the loss of their products owing to unforeseen circumstances. The middlemen who manipulate them to their ends, further aggravate these hardships. Kunnath Pharmaceuticals requires annually, over 400 metric tons each, of the 9 herbs it uses in its medical products.
