Types : * Type A ( Iowa Type\\\') : The barbs have four points and are formed by twisting two point wires each two turns, tightly around both line wires making altogether four complete turns * Type B (Glidden Type) : The barbs have four points and are formed by twisting two point wires, each two turns, tightly around one line wire making altogether four complete turns Specification : * Material : Galvanized mild steel wire (standard- for general engineering purposes) Manufacturing Process : Barbed wire is formed by twisting together two line wires, one or both containing the barbs. The barbs are finished in such a way that the four points are set and located or locked as far as possible at right angles to each other. Length of the barbs is as per industrial standards. The points are sharp and are cut at an angle smaller than or equal to 35° to the axis of the wire forming the barb. Galvanizing and Chrome Plating : The Barbed Wire is galvanized and the galvanization is according to the industrial standards for galvanized coatings on round steel wires. Flawless Construction : The line and point wires are circular in section, free from scales and other defects and are uniformly galvanized. The line wire is in continuous length and does not contain any welds other than those in the rod before it is drawn. The distance between two successive splices is customized as per client’s need.
