Marble

Marble" springs from Latin word "Marmar" that comes from the Greek root "Marmarous" that means a shining stone. Marble may be a nonfoliated stone ensuing from the geological process of sedimentary rock. Commercially, marble is any crystalline rock composed preponderantly of spar, dolomite or snaky, having 3-4 hardness, which may be excavated as blocks and might be sawn into marble slabs and marble tiles. Marble is employed for wall protective cover, roofing and flooring and a spread of alternative interior and exterior applications.
