Nifedipine Tablet is extensively used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It assists in relaxing your blood vessels, so that your heart does not have to pump as hard. It also increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart, in order to control chest pain (angina). If taken on a regular basis, nifedipine efficiently controls chest pain, although it does not stop chest pain once it starts. Your doctor may prescribe you some different medication in the case of chest pain.
