Comprises of :
  • Pressure Pump
  • Pre-pressurized Tank or Diaphragm tank
    • The tank has a diaphragm separating the air from the water
    • The water can be stored in the diaphragm or can be between the walls of the tank & the diaphragm
    • A regular air pressure is maintained inside the tank to control the system
    • All diaphragm tank sizing begins with a basic law of physics known as Boyle’s Law
    • When we applied it to pressure tanks, it will determine the drawdown factor
    • Boyle’s law is use to calculate tank efficiency

  • HPN Tanks provide a closed drinking water system. A closed system inhibits bacteria and vermin intrusion. Conventional tanks used in a gravity system are vented and allow impurities to enter the system.
  • HPN Tanks help deliver equal pressure throughout multi-level dwellings. Conventional tanks create pressure disparities in homes.
  • HPN Tanks draw water from wells or cisterns as needed and allow source replenishment.
  • Unsightly overhead tanks are not needed in a pressure system. A roof can be designed without the worry of making room for an overhead tank.
  • Water saving devices can be used effectively with pre-pressurized tank systems. Gravity-fed systems require open flow and waste water.
  • Overhead tanks typically require multi-line plumbing to various points of use in gravity feed systems. Pressure systems allow single pipe plumbing.
