Artex Apparels, established in 1981 as a very small scale garments manufacturer with 5 machines and 10 employees with the dynamic effort of Mr. Praful Shah, and Mr. Abhay Shah, the founder directors of the Company. Looking to the growing demand in Kids Wear segment of apparels, “Artex” has concentrated more on this area and targeted the age group of 0-16 years. The product line includes Trousers, Cargos, Capri, Bermuda, Skirt, Jumper Dress, Shirts, Half/Full Dungaree, Jamaica, T-Shirts etc. and accessories such as belts, bags and caps.

It was indeed a tough journey without much Managerial and Technical expertise however, after the initial teething; we continued business with the same focus and perfected our product quality and reliability. Working with different retailers, distributors in the domestic market made us capable of taking up more responsibilities and risk. Over the years, we have got good exposure to the business and succeeded in satisfying our business partners through competitive rates, innovative designs, best quality and timely delivery. All our hard work and dedication paid us back and slowly but, steadily we started our journey towards success. Decades passed to get recognition to the industry and by 1995, we could achieve a better place in the market and to meet with the demand, we have expanded our facilities with 100 machines and 200 employees.

To fulfill our aim of exploring business opportunities in overseas countries, we started our search for business partners who can understand apparel market better than us and have back of market intelligence. During this time, we have met Baby Shop (Land Mark Group, UAE) at Mumbai in one of the International Fairs and entered into a business agreement with them. This Group owns number of Retail Stores in UAE and considered as one of the best in its kind. “Artex” has been registered as the main supplier for Kids Wear Segment with this Group. Today, Artex’s leading buyer-Landmark Group is a 1000 million Dollar company having 33% of the Market share of Middle East and is incessantly expanding its horizons around the world. Landmark Group currently operates over 500 stores in Middle East.

The series of Awards won by the Company on the national & international level reflects the service, quality & commitment towards excellence. The Company is the proud receiver of National Award for Outstanding Quality Product by the worthy hands of Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh in the year 2002 & 2008.

We have also obtained ISO 9001:2000 certifications by ISOQAR, UK to meet the international quality standards.

Recently we got an opportunity to work with Group Zannier, one of the leading supply chain stores of France and their first order is under execution. We are expecting a huge business prospectus from this buyer for their different brands.

In domestic market, we are associating with retail biggies like Life Style, Reliance, Big Bazaar, Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Max Retail, Toon Kids etc.

The Company has been growing tremendously from a small enterprise into a widely known and well established garment industry in India. As we are continuously improving our machinery and workmanship as well as implementing better production arrangement, our production capacity is having a favorable and steady annual growth. With a team of young entrepreneurs, and state-of-the-art technology from US, Germany & Japan, our monthly production has gone up to 1, 00,000 Pcs. per month.

Company has its head office and factory at Ahmedabad, India. Artex has been growly tremendously from a small enterprise into a widely known and well established garment industry in India. The premises provide congenial atmosphere and comfortable environment for all our employees divided into Administration, Merchandising, Pattern Making, Sample Making, Cutting, Sewing, Washing, Packing and Shipping Divisions. All divisions are well equipped with modern machinery and highly qualified personnel to produce accurate and world class product.

We are all set to broaden our horizons in terms of size and growth at GIDC Apparel Park (SEZ), Ahmedabad with 10,000 sq. meters factory as per the norms and regulations of WRAP (World wide Responsible Apparel Production). Nearly 1200 people will be employed in it with a fully fledged infrastructure of 700 machineries producing nearly a million garments per annum with 100% in-house facilities.
